The Nether Edge Farmers Market

Small businesses play a big role in local economies.  They can be providing large scale production as well as niche services.  And do we as residents even realise the diversity of businesses in our own neighbourhoods?

Well, Nether Edge Farmers Market was held in Sheffield today.  It aims to bring together people in the neighbourhood whilst also showcasing the produce of local businesses.

Waheed Akhtar was there and spoke to some of the small business owners about the benefits of a local market.
